Andre Lavigna

Andre P. Lavigna, 43, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 3:45 p.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he had been patient since August 21st..

Born in Reading, he was the son of James R. Lavigna of Bristol, TN, and Lise M. (Tardif) Reppert of Sinking Spring.

He was a 1985 graduate of Holy Name High School, and also attended Berks VO Tech, with a focus in Electrical Studies.

He worked for the Florida Division of Forestry and also worked in the Recycling Department of Florida Power and Light.

Locally, he was a Ham radio operator, with the call tag W3UH, and was a member of the Reading Radio Club. He was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola R.C.C., Millmont.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepbrother: Elwood "Allan" Reppert Jr. of Desert Hot Springs, CA.

He is also survived by his Aunt: Carol, (Lavigna), wife of John Jackson of Shillington, and an Uncle: Charles Lavigna, husband of Vicki Lavigna of Sinking Spring; his Godfather: Julian Flickinger of Shillington; and many cousins.

He was pre deceased by his stepfather: Elwood "Woody" Reppert Sr., who passed away on June 13, 2009.
