Allen Kauffman

Allen David “Ollie” Kauffman, 81, of Temple, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 3:30 am in Reading Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Diane S. (Guldin) Kauffman who passed away September 7, 2019.  Born in Port Clinton, Mr. Kauffman was the son of the late Harry M. and Mada M. (Baver) Kauffman.  He was a custodian for the Reading School district until his retirement.  Mr. Kauffman is survived by his sons David A. Kauffman, loving companion of Cindy Izzette of Temple; Charles A. Kauffman, husband of Diane L. Kauffman of Temple; his grandchildren Michael Kauffman, husband of Jennifer Kauffman of Exeter Township; Bradley Kauffman, husband of Amber Kauffman of Reading; Zachary Kauffman of Temple and his 6 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his siblings Linda Althouse of Sinking Spring; Marianne Cherrybon of Quarkertown; Betty Henderson of Womelsdorf;  Fred Kauffman of Port Clinton;  and was preceded in death by Nevin “Jim” Kauffman; Lewis Baver Kauffman and Harry Kauffman.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 1605 Rockland Street, Hampden Heights Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Reverend David J. Duquette will officiate.  Interment will follow at Alsace Cemetery.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.  Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
