Alice Spang

Alice A. Spang, 94, of Spring Township, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 7:30 am in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township. She was the wife of the late John H. "Jack" Spang who passed away October 14, 1987. Born in Spring Grove, York County, she was the daughter of the late Percy M. and Sallie (Miller) Berkheimer. She was a member of Spring Valley Church of God and served as a volunteer at Community General Hospital for 13 years until 1999. Mrs. Spang is survived by her daughter Beverly A. Street, wife of the late Larry A. Street of Spring Township; her grandchildren Jeannette A. Klinger, wife of Terry L. Klinger and Steven J. Street, husband of Julie L. Street and her great granddaughter Kiera S. Street. She is also survived by her sisters Ethel M. Boyer; Ruby J. Smith; Helen G.I. Gladfelter and Betty L. Senft along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service will be held in Forest Hills Memorial Park 391 West Neversink Road, Exeter Township, Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 11:00 am. Reverend Robert E. Hinson will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Road, Temple, PA 19560 in memory of Mrs. Alice A. Spang.
