Alice J. Bryan

Alice J. Bryan, 75, of Mount Penn, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Kindred Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late James R. Bryan, who passed away on October 6, 1996. Born on November 15, 1947, in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Chester Howard and Mary Edna (Englebach) Miller.

Alice was an avid animal lover. She was known for living life to the fullest. Alice enjoyed watching the Sopranos and Good Fellas, but above all she loved being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Timothy Bryan, of Illinois; Kenneth Bryan, husband of Jamie, of Muhlenberg; Emmy Bryan, fiancé of Ron Breidenstein, of Mt. Penn; Stacy Bryan, of Poconos; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Vernon Miller; and sister Laverne Miller.

The family would like to thank anyone who has donated blood or plasma to those in need.

A celebration of life service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes 6 Fairlane Road, Reading, PA 19606 on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 12:30pm. Amy S. Landis will officiate. Interment will follow at Mohnsville Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00am-12:30pm.
