Alexander Archer

Alexander Archer, 98, of South Heidelberg Township, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 7:30 am at Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Betty A. (Schutter) Archer who passed away April 26, 2008.  Born in Reading, Mr. Archer was the son of the late Dominic and Carrie (Rossi) Archer.  He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a machine operator at Teledyne for 37 years until his retirement.  Mr. Archer was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Kenhorst.  He is survived by his children Tim G. Archer, husband of Connie L. Archer of South Heidelberg Township; Marlene K. Sitler, wife of Bruce Sitler of Mt. Jewett, PA; Gary K. Archer, husband of Thelma Archer of Milan, PA; Randy S. Archer, husband of Juliet Archer of Landisville, PA and his 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Mr. Archer is also survived by his sisters Ruth Pauley and Frances DeAngelo both of Wernersville.  He was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.
