Albert Stewart

December 8, 1920 — September 23, 2015

Albert C. Stewart, 94, of Exeter Twp., passed away on September 23, 2015 at Golden Living Center.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John A. and Florence M. (Faust) Stewart.
Albert was employed as an engineman for ConRail and also helped to found Birdsboro Ambulance. He was a very good handyman and enjoyed various projects which included repairing houses.
He was predeceased by his 3 wives, 5 sisters, brother, and step-daughter: Patricia Kreisher.
Survivors include: Daughter: Carol A. Swoyer of Mt. Penn, Son: Jeffrey H. Ibach, husband of Mary L. of Pottsville. Grandchildren: Annette M. Repasch, wife of Stephen of Houston, TX, Christine R. Boud, wife of Dean of Birdsboro, and Andrew C. Swoyer, husband of Susan E. of Reading, 3 step-grandchildren, Great-grandchildren: Abigail Elischer, Caitlyn Elischer, and Elizabeth Swoyer , 7 step great-grandchildren, and 8 step great-great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, N.16 & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10-11:00AM. The interment will follow at Charles Evans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, PO Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540.
