Albert I. "Red" Hartman, Sr., 78, of Cumru Township, passed away December 4, 2010 at 10:30 am in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He was the husband of Geraldine (Bonsall) Hartman. Born in Reading he was the son of the late Albert W. and Hannah F. (Dautrich) Hartman. Mr. Hartman was employed by Firestone Tire & Rubber Company in Pottstown for 25 years as a tire inspector then for 11 years worked for Eagle Brass as a rolling mill helper. He served in the United States Army. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Albert I. Hartman, Jr. of Exeter Township and Scott A. Hartman of Sinking Spring along with his grandchildren, Sampson L., Jesse A. and Dalton M. Also surviving is his sister Gloria Hoffman of Greenfields. He was preceded in death by his sister Ruth Kline. He is also survived by his dog Jake.
