Agi Hagen- van Overhagen died peacefully on January 26, 2018. She was born Agnes Krausz, the younger daughter of Hungarian parents Karoly and Piroska (nѐe Bass), on March 10, 1935, in Leiden, the Netherlands. In search of excitement and greater opportunities, she emigrated to New Zealand in the mid-fifties. She married Wilfred, a Dutchman, in 1956. They lived in Australia, Guam, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Trinidad, Taiwan, Russia, the Netherlands, and various US states before settling in Berks County twenty years ago. Agi worked in a stationer's shop, hotels, a jewelry shop, and as a real estate agent before becoming a practitioner of alternative healing. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred in 2008 and her sister Eve Marsh, in 2017. She is survived by her daughters Dominique Caron of Sinking Spring and Karen Hagen of Oregon as well as four grandchildren, Adam McDevitt, Ryann McDevitt, Alex Caron and Gaia Brusasco and a great-grandson, Lucas McDevitt.
