Agnes H. Nitka, 91, of Wyomissing, passed away November 22, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services. She was the widow of William A. Nitka, Sr. who passed away June 24, 1998. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Stanley and Antonia (Slechta) Hubata.
Agnes was known for her witty sense of humor. She was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, the Corresponding Secretary of the Council of Ladies Auxiliary Wives of Professional Engineers, and a member of the Reading Hospital Women's Auxiliary.
Survivors include son William A. Nitka, Jr., husband of Donna, of West Lawn; daughter Joyce M. Schittler, wife of Dallas, of Sinking Spring; 4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, November 30, 2015 at 10:15am in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2810 St. Albans Dr. Sinking Spring. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, November 29 from 2-4:00pm and Monday, November 30 from 8:30-9:30am at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring.
