Adelaida Olmeda

Adelaida Olmeda, 73, of Reading, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 8:30 am at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Hipolito Olmeda who passed away July 20, 2021. Born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Olmeda was the daughter of the late Eladio Pagan and Adela Velez. She was a nursing assistant at Villa St. Elizabeth in Reading for 20 years until her retirement. Mrs. Olmeda is survived by her children Hipolito Olmeda, Jr. husband of Cori Olmeda of Temple; Nancy Perez wife of Luis A. Perez of Auburn, Schuylkill County; her grandchildren Tyson and Miranda; her sister-in-law Eugenia Olmeda with whom she last resided; several brothers and sisters and her beloved fur baby Gigi. She was preceded in death by her daughter Arlene Olmeda September 23, 2022. 

Graveside Service will be held at Gethsemane Cemetery 3139 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, Friday, July 26, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Amy S. Landis will officiate. Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
