Adam Gajewski

February 7, 1941 — January 28, 2017

Adam T. Gajewski, 75, of Exeter Twp., passed away on January 28, 2017 at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Born in Nanticoke, he was the son of the late Adam J. and Sophie (Grzymski) Gajewski.
Adam was a US Marine Corp veteran, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a graduate of Penn State University, and was employed as an electrical engineer for Western Electric, retiring from Agere Systems. He was last employed as an office associate at UGI Energy Services. Adam was a member of St. Catharine of Siena RCC, where he served as a Eucharist Minister and religious education teacher. Because of his love of sports, he coached baseball for the Exeter Township Little League. Adam enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and will also be remembered as a talented woodworker. His family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and aides at The Reading Hospital Stroke Unit and the Heartland Hospice Care for their kind and gentle care.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Lorraine F. (Piscotty) Gajewski, Children: Steven A. Gajewski, of Ephrata, Richard A. Gajewski, husband of Angie, of Greenville, SC, and Theresa A. Walker, wife of Ian, of Pennsburg. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Bethany, Jayce, Alexander, Ayla, and Julia; sisters: Florence Mont and Dorothy Baker.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catharine of Siena RCC, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 12:30PM. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:30AM-12:15PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
