Mary C. Dillon, 82, of Shillington, passed away October 3, 2010 at 2:15 AM in ManorCare Health Services in Sinking Spring where she resided for 2 weeks. She was the widow of the late Joseph F. Wallace who passed away in 1958, the widow of the late Richard Grant who passed away in 1986 and the late John N. Dillon who passed away in 1997. Born in Reading on October 27, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Tindari and Carmela (Pellerite) Denatala.
Mary worked at Penn Optical for several years before retiring. She was a member of St. Peter's RCC. Church, Reading.
Surviving are a son Gerald S. Wallace with whom she last resided, a daughter Toni M. Howe wife of Stanford Howe of Bernville, several step children, 4 grandsons John M. Howe of Bernville, Jan Michael Colna of Minersville, Randal Boud of Schuylkill Haven, and Dean Boud of Exeter Twp., several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren 2 great great grandchildren, 2 sisters Fannie Toth of Sinking Spring and Bessie Ruth of Wernersville and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Mary C. Colna wife of Michael Colna and 2 brothers Anthony and Samuel Denatala.
