Blair H. Moyer, 87, of Hyde Park, passed away February 1, 2010 at 12:28 PM in Reading Hospital and Medical Center where he was a patient since Sunday.  He was the husband of Doris J. (Williams) Moyer who passed away February 27, 2003.  Born in Reading on May 22, 1922, he was the son of the late Charles J. Moyer and the late Anabelle (Gerlacher) Moyer Pfeifly.

     Mr. Moyer was a Navy veteran of World War 2.  He was employed as a supervisor at General Battery for 44 years retiring in 1984.  He later worked as a school bus aid at BCIU for 7 years.  Blair was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church and Patriotic Order Sons of America, Camp # 68 Hyde Park.  

     Surviving are 2 daughters Bonnie J. (Moyer)  wife of Brian K. DeCarlo of Laureldale and Juanita J. (Moyer) widow of Robert L. Henry of West Lawn, 4 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and a brother Allen W. Moyer of Temple.  He was predeceased by a brother Charles J. Moyer Jr.
