Name: Jerry T. Southworth Dates: Birth date: February 22, 1958 Death date: January 31, 2010 Obituary: Jerry T. Southworth, 51, of West Lawn, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2010, at 9:25 a.m. in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where he had been a patient for less than a day. Born in Spring Twp., he was the son of Helen L. (Harkness) Southworth of West Lawn, and the late Forrest C. Southworth. He was a 1976 graduate of Wilson High School, and 1980 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, with a BS in Journalism. He last worked in Human Resources for Berk Tek in New Holland for nine years. He enjoyed golfing, and was a well regarded softball coach in the Amateur Softball Assoc. in PA, coaching in the Reamstown Ladies Softball League for 13 years. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister: Margaret L. (Southworth) Radkowski of Shillington; a niece: Stacie, a nephew: Joe, a great nephew: Reese, and a great niece: Raegan.
