Margaret Evelyn Burns, 88, of Wyomissing, went to be with her Lord August 8, 2012 at 12:08 am in her residence of natural causes, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Rev. Robert A. Burns for 57 years. Born in McDonald, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Florence I. (Mandale) Charlier. Mrs. Burns was a member of Spring Valley Church of God and at one time was employed by the former McDonald Coal Company as a cost accountant. She was an avid student of the Bible and served actively as a Sunday School teacher of preschool children and as a deaconess. In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter Barbara L. Stutz at home and her son Robert R. Burns, husband of Maria Burns of Wake Forest, NC. She is also survived by her grandsons Richard W. Stutz, Jr., Robert A. Burns and Joshua R. Burns. Mrs. Burns is also survived by her sister Florence Hennon of Greensburg, PA. She was preceded in death by her sister Drina Browett. She is also survived by her nephew Gary Hennon of Greensburg,PA her niece Sandie Murnyack, wife of Alex Murnyack of Clarence, PA and her nephew Richard Browett, husband of Sherry Browett of Fairfax, VA.
