Mabel D. Preg, 80, of Spring Township, passed away June 2, 2012 at 12:20 am in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. She is survived by her loving husband Robert J. Preg, Sr. and on June 6, 2012 would have celebrated 42 years of marriage. Born in Oley she was the daughter of the late Roland and Katie (Heffner) Zimmerman. She was a member of Lighthouse Community Church in Lyons and was a folder at David Crystal until her retirement. Mrs. Preg has a servants heart who was always helping others. She enjoyed cooking , gardening and baking with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother to Robin J. Rhoads wife of Bruce C. Rhoads of Wyomissing and Melissa L. Pagerly wife of John T. Pagerly of Wyomissing. She was a loving grandmother to Crystalyn R. Knepp, Sean A. Rhoads, Elyse K. Pagerly, Devon D. Pagerly and a loving great grandmother to Rileigh F. Knepp. Also surviving are several nieces Alberta Spohn, Sheila Zizza, Carolyn Reifsnyder and her nephew Darryl McCullough. She was preceded in death by her brother Elwood Zimmerman and her sister Grace E. McCullough.
